A local reviewer recently wrote: "Stopped into Lobster Haven after searching for a good lobster supplier online. I wanted to do a steamer pot for my mom's birthday and had no idea where to start. When we walked in Ira was super helpful off the bat. I was pretty clear that I had ZERO history with cooking live lobster or putting together a steamer pot. I honestly thought I would just be buying lobster and clams and have to get everything else at the supermarket. In 10 minutes (may not have even been that long) we walked out with lobster, clams, andouille, parboiled potatoes and corn, a complete set of directions with a drawing and Ira's phone number in case of emergency LOL. Amazing service and I'm still bummed that I didn't get more lobster because the price was ridiculously good. I'm gonna need a bigger pot :) Great success btw. Ira's mission with the restaurant is to always create a memorable experience for his guests. Every menu item has that Ira touch you are going to love! The appetizers alone will make your taste buds spin from joy. Our personal favorite is The Big Easy which includes crab meat topped with guacamole, Pico, and lettuce, and served with tortilla chips...yummy! If you like starting with soup, then you will love the three different chowders to choose from, clam, seafood, and lobster. Appetizer choices include Black Mussels, Shrimp Cocktail, and more! Eating light? Keep it small by ordering Ira's Fish Tacos, Crab Cake Sandwich, or a Lobster Roll, or you can go with one of the entrees such as the Maui Glazed Salmon, or the Snow Crab Dinner.
The restaurant also offers three buckets to choose from which each contain one Maine Lobster, six middle neck clams, 8 large shrimp, and sauteed black mussels. The Gold Bucket also includes a snow crab cluster, and the Silver bucket includes Crawfish. The Gold Bucket is pictured below:
