Cheetahs are the fastest animals on the planet averaging speeds of up to 75 mph and can go from 0-62 mph in an astonishing 3 seconds. The new rollercoaster at Busch Gardens called Cheetah Hunt allows visitors to experience the speed of this magnificent animal. The coaster travels over rapids, through a rocky canyon and across the built landscape as if a real cheetah would hitting speeds of up to 60 mph.
Cheetah Hunt at Busch Gardens is now open and is fitting for adults, kids and even those who have some reservations about going on coasters. So far the ratings on this ride have been high for all these genres and continue to receive positive reviews. Cheetah Hunt not only provides the thrill of cheetah speeds but also an educational and inspiring view of the cheetah exhibit right next to Cheetah Hunt, called Cheetah Run. This exhibit showcases real live cheetahs and their incredible speeds as they race across the provided plains.
With the thrills and excitement of Cheetah Hunt combined with the one-of-a-kind experience at Cheetah Run, these new attractions at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay have given the other coasters a run for their money. It will be hard to top this new rollercoaster, but knowing the creative professionals at Busch Gardens, I am sure they will continue to try.
