Thanks to a local artist in Tampa Bay, you can experience an evening of crafting and craft brews on April 19th at The Brass Tap | Centro Ybor. Fringe Creatives is hosting a night inspired by Frida Kahlo at The Brass Tap beginning at 6:00 pm and ending at 8:30 pm.
Local artist Teri Navajo founded Fringe Creatives in 2014 with the intention of making Tampa Bay a more colorful place and opening up the community to art and culture. Fringe Creatives curates art shows in locally owned businesses throughout the Tampa Bay area, bringing Tampa artists, business owners and community members together in a way that's worth celebrating.

In honor of famous artist and feminist icon Frida Khalo's exhibit at The Dali Museum, Fringe Creatives and The Brass Tap are teaming up in Ybor to create a workshop environment for people of any art skill and level. Whether you've studied art for years or you've never picked up a paintbrush in your life, you are welcome here.
The event starts with a half an hour of mingling and getting to know each other. At 6:30, guests will sit down and begin working on their floral headbands and colorful stash box projects. During the workshop, select craft beers will be available for FREE, thanks to The Brass Tap.
Fringe Creatives is providing materials and instruction, walking you through how to work on your project or allowing you to just let the spirit move you to do your own thing. The crafting party wraps around 8:30, then you're free to party in the bar until close!
