The name says it all. American Craft Beer Week is a celebration of independent craft beer brewing in America with events, specials, and much more at hundreds of bars and breweries throughout the nation.
This year, American Craft Beer Week is going down from Monday, May 14 through Sunday, May 20 and you can bet there will be a handful of great events around the Tampa Bay area celebrating the spirit of independent breweries.
On Monday, May 14 the World of Beer in Westchase will host a special Cigar City Brewery Night. There will be a firkin of White Oak Tocobaga on tap as well as a handful of other Cigar City beers, giveaways including an all-inclusive tour of Cigar City Brewery, specials, and more.
Also on Monday, World of Beer in Carrollwood will host United We Brew, a celebration of American Craft Beer Week featuring beers from Swamphead brewery, giveaways, free swag, and more.
On Tuesday, May 15, Tampa beer lovers can head out to Brews with Attitude at TPepin's Hospitality Centre in North Tampa for a huge celebration of all things craft beer. Brews with Attitude will feature endless samples of more craft, import, and specialty beers, live entertainment, home brew demonstrations, and more. General admission tickets are only $40 and can be purchased here.
The World of Beer in Tampa Palms will also host an American Craft Beer Week celebration on Tuesday with an Anchor Brewery Spotlight. They'll honor America's first craft brewery, Anchor Brewery and give anyone who orders an Anchor beer a free pint glass.
