Tampa is the perfect example of the saying "Big city, small town." It takes over 40 minutes to drive from the bottom of South Tampa to Fletcher Ave near USF in North Tampa. With almost 400,000 people living within the city limits, it’s easy to run into the same person multiple times during the week. Therefore, the more people you meet, the more involved you become in the community. The more involved you become in the community, the more you care about our city and the things that make us locals.
