A second Tampa Bay area Whole Foods Market is set to open in North Tampa later this year and they're looking to hire.
According to the Tampa Bay Business Journal, the new Whole Foods will be located at located at Northdale Boulevard off Dale Mabry Highway at Northdale-Carrollwood. They're looking to hire around 150 people to work at this 36,000-square-foot location in positions including cashier and cashier assistants, seafood and meat cutters, bakers, cake decorators, chefs, cooks, grocery stockers and maintenance workers.
Those interested can apply at a job fair the new Whole Foods is hosting which will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. today (Friday, September 28) and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the store's location, 3802 Northdale Blvd in Tampa.
This will be the second Whole Foods Market location to open in Tampa and the 17th to open overall in the state of Florida. Rumors still swirl regarding the opening of a new Whole Foods in St. Petersburg across the bay, but nothing's been confirmed by the company quite yet.
