Telecommunications giant Verizon will soon be hiring 100 new sales representatives for a new customer-retention center based out of their Downtown Tampa offices according to the Tampa Bay Times.
For those interested in sales jobs in Tampa, this opportunity to work in a Fortune 500 company environment is one that shouldn't be overlooked.
The future team of representatives at the new customer-retention center will handle after-business hours issues raised by Verizon customers from 12 states and Washington, D.C., a previously-outsourced task Verizon will now bring to Tampa, the Times reports.
The new center is a testament to Verizon's commitment in the Tampa Bay area, adding on to the company's previous $2 billion effort in bringing the FiOS network to the area.
