The Hiring Our Heroes job fair will return to the Tampa Bay area on Thursday, October 4 at Raymond James Stadium with a handful of employers offering jobs in Tampa to U.S. military veterans and spouses.
As part of a nationwide effort to help veterans and military spouses find meaningful employment and rewarding careers, Hiring our Heroes will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with an assortment of Tampa employers looking to hire for new and open positions. Presented by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and veteran recruiting partner RecruitMilitary, this exclusive hiring fair is free for military servicemembers, veterans, and spouses looking for employment.
This specific Hiring Our Heroes event is part of Hiring 500,000 heroes, a nationwide effort launched by the U.S. Chamber, the National Chamber Foundation, and Capital One encouraging local business communities to collectively hire 500,000 veterans and military spouses by the end of 2014.
"This is an excellent opportunity for top employers from across the country to connect with high caliber candidates," according to a statement on the Hiring Our Heroes website.
