Florida's unemployment rate dropped down to 9 percent in March - the lowest it's been since January of 2009.
According to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, the unemployment rate has dropped from 9.4 percent in February to an even 9 percent in March. This may not seem like much, but it's the largest month-to-month drop in the state since October of 1992.
