The Tampa Bay Technology Forum will bring its third annual BizTech Innovation Summit to the A La Carte Event Pavilion in North Tampa on Thursday, March 14.

The Summit aims to connect businesses and their leaders to some of the most beneficial and emerging technology in the Tampa Bay market, according to 83 Degrees Media.

Around 400 business leaders, employees, entrepreneurs, and tech-curious are expected to attend this popular annual event which will feature exhibitions and expert knowledge on emerging technologies like Voice over IP and mobile applications.

Murray Wright, president of the Americas for Tech Data Corp., will be the keynote speaker at this year's the BizTech Innovation Summit.  His speech will cover the future of technology and why exactly it's so important to businesses.

In addition, there will be a handful of exhibitors on hand displaying a variety of emerging technologies well-suited for growing businesses and potential jobs.

The UCF Office of Technology Transfer will be showing off Combat Lifesaver, a card game that reinforces learning and procedures that help save lives on the battlefield, as well as a virtual retail employee training program on a four-foot-tall iPhone display.

Rapid Prototyping Services will also be on hand with a futuristic 3D printer on hand to demonstrate the potential of 3D mechanical prototypes used for cad modeling, appearance models, and tooling.

But, these are just the tip of the iceberg.  Over 20 exhibitors are already signed up to attend with many more expected by March 14.

The 2013 BizTech Innovation Summit will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the A La Carte Event Pavilion.  Registration for a single standard ticket to the Summit is $80.  Business attire is recommended.  For ticket options and more information, visit tbtf.org.
