Good news for those seeking jobs in Tampa: The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is seeking candidates to fill 400 new in-house positions as well as 500 construction positions for their $75 million expansion expected to be finished this summer.
Seminole Hard Rock is looking for new chefs, cooks, restaurant servers, bartenders, cocktail servers, cashiers, Player’s Club representatives and technicians, security, building/grounds maintenance, and housekeeping employees to accommodate for their Summer expansion. The hotel and casino currently employs just over 3,100 people.
The Hard Rock's new expansion will add 3,200 square feet of space to the 190,000 square foot complex. The addition will feature more space for casino games, a new restaurant, five-story parking garage, and a renovated pool area and bar.
The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino will host a job fair on Monday, April 16 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Florida State Fairgrounds to start hiring for these new positions. Those interested in attending the fair need to apply online beforehand at www.seminolehardrocktampa.com/jobsforflorida.
