JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

The Compliance Clerk II is responsible for providing support in all compliance and related activities

 

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Organize and maintain compliance record, audits, and reports
  • Assist Revenue Verification when needed
  • Responsible for the day-to-day audit of all documents generated from the operating departments and ensures the compliance with the Internal Control Standards (ICS), Title 31, Payment Control Industry (PCI) and Personal Identifiable Information.
  • Review and ensure the timely filing of Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) and Suspicious Activity Reporting (SARC’s) and re-filing incomplete CTR’s when additional information is attained
  • Monitor daily sensitive key transactions
  • Assist in conducting quarterly audits of sensitive keys and users of sensitive keys
  • Assist in conducting monthly key watcher, marker bank audits and quarterly credit audits
  • Adhere to the Seminole Tribe Gaming Commission Policies and Procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience with computerized auditing/accounting experience or a combination of education and/or experience with casino operations and with STGC and Federal rules and regulations
  • Must have a working knowledge of MS word, Excel.
  • Professional experience with 10 key adding machines preferred.
  • Must possess excellent communication (both oral and written) skills
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must possess problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with all levels of management
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed

 

Work Environment:

  • Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting, but there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.

 

Employment Process:

Seminole Gaming’s employment process requires candidates to obtain gaming licensure by successfully completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to beginning employment. These background checks may include, but are not limited to:
