Responsibilities

The Spa Attendant is responsible for providing courteous recreation services to guests and working to maintain the pool and recreation complex and spa facilities.  The Attendant is specifically assigned to the Men's Locker Room.

 

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assists Guests with Spa Services requests
  • Maintains a crisp and professional physical appearance within the guidelines established by the company
  • Maintains a clean and functional work space
  • Attends all required training and safety courses; attend all required department meetings
  • Performs and follows up on any other duties assigned by the Spa Manager on duty

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Must have the ability to use good judgment in stressful situations
  • Must be able to promote an outgoing, friendly customer oriented personality at all times
  • Must possess exceptional guest service skills
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Must conduct themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures
  • Must be willing and able to assist with any guest or staff member request in a consummately professional, positive and proactive manner
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities
  • Must be able to provide clear and concise directions and information to hotel guests
  • Ability to read and understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures
  • Must be able to complete standard Seminole Tribe of Florida forms and reports

Work Environment:

  • Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in the Spa near the Casino Floor which is a fast-paced, guest-smoking environment, with constant exposure to general public and excessive noise.
  • This position requires the employee to stand for prolonged periods of time as well as frequent walking, sometimes stooping, bending and lifting up to a maximum of 30 lbs.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
