Barnacles

It's been a while since I ate there,but the seafood was excelent.I had baby lobster(Langostinos) and pasta, w/a wonderful basil cream sauce,salad,and a baked potatoe that was done just right. They didn't fuss when we asked for extra garlic butter for the oysters. Steamed oysters on the halfshell were done just right,and the servings were very generous. We ate on the patio,and they also had seating inside. The crowd was decent,but we really didn't have to wait too long for a table. As far as atmosphere goes,I was a little disappointed.Only because I'm used to eating indoors,especially seafood.I could get used to the outdoors,but I guess it was just me. I look at seafood as a luxury sometimes,and it just seems more appropriate to eat in a more indoorsy type atmosphere. Like I said before,they give you a good deal for your money. Prices are average,not too bad on the wallet either. Overall,it was a great deal! Sevice was excellent,and the wait was about 15minutes for each course to arrive. Waitress was very personable,so we left a generous tip. Nice place to be when your'e hungry !

Pros: Great food done just right,very tender lobster w/ all the fixins and we didnt' have to ask twice for anything ! Decent atmosphere & the prices were reasonable

Cons: Had to wait for a table,so we opted to eat on the patio(not what we really wanted,but ok)

Cons: Sometimes can get a little too crowded for me

I would expect to find a lot more tropical drinks and wine when I visit a place named Barnacle's, but the food is commendable.

Pros: Barnacle's has some of the best seafood you will find in Brandon.

Cons: There is not a very big selection of alcoholic beverages that you would hope to find at a seafood restaurant.
