Vibes of the Bay- A recommendation from our Localite of the Week, Mary Lou Janson!
Vibes of the Bay is a one-day independent music festival held in the burgeoning arts scene of Ybor City neighborhood in Tampa, Florida presented by Symphonic Distribution. The event provides a platform that showcases the talent and distinctiveness of our growing music scene in the Tampa Bay area. Enjoy live art installations, food trucks, vendors and refreshments while getting a look at Tampa’s thriving music scene. And this year they are dedicating it to the Ybor Chickens Society.
“I love listening to live music and try to support the local music scene by seeking out concerts given by artists who call Tampa home. On Saturday, Vibes of the Bay fills the stage at Crowbar in Ybor City with some of the area’s most creative and talented musicians for a one-day-only event. They’ve lined up a diverse mix of solo artists and groups playing different genres of music and, no matter what’s on your personal playlist, the list looks - and sounds - too good to miss. You can sample songs here. Still need convincing? There’s also an art auction to raise money, not for struggling musicians, but for Ybor City’s chickens!” - Mary Lou Janson
