This weekend is going to be a blast (literally)! You certainly won't be bored with so many things to do in Tampa in the coming days. This weekend is all about the red, white and blue, and we've definitely got the hookup for all the fun Tampa 4th of July events. There's American-inspired festivals, epic firework displays and patriotic parties lighting up the Bay all weekend long. If you're trying to stay out of the July humidity and heat (we don't blame you!), there's plenty of things to do in Tampa that can be enjoyed under the night sky or indoors.

4th of July Fun
Tampa Red White & Blue Festival 2019
Celebrate Independence Day with the whole family, including the pups! The fest will kick off with a Patriotic Paws Walk on Madison Street between Channelside Drive and Meridian Street. Bring your fur children dressed in their best patriotic outfits to participate in the walk. Best-dressed dog will win a special prize!
4th of July Party & BBQ
Join the fun at WTR on July 4th for Tampa's largest sunset fireworks show! There will be entertainment, all American BBQ and fireworks! A portion of proceeds will benefit the Armed Forces Families Foundation.
Independence Day Weekend Silent Party
A day after the smoke clears from the fireworks, head to American Social Tampa for an awesome silent disco! Just $10 gets you a headset so you can jam to your favorite tunes.
Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Competition
What's more American than a hot dog eating competition? There will be 25 contestants from around the Bay who will compete to see who can take down the most dogs within a 5-minute period! The winner will take home the championship title which includes a $500 Armature Works gift card, the championship belt, as well as epic bragging rights.
Heights 4th of July Festival
Don't miss the first annual Heights 4th of July Festival as part of Mayor Jane Castor’s inaugural Boom by the Bay Independence Day celebration! This all-day affair will kick off with a classic American Car Show, followed by a Hot Dog Eating Contest, live music all afternoon, a YMCA sponsored Family Fun Zone, and a spectacular 20-minute public fireworks display over the Hillsborough River.
Boom by the BAY
This 4th of July celebration will feature family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and four firework displays along Tampa's beautiful waterfront. The Independence Day fun will be spread out across the following locations: Waterworks Park/Armature Works, Julian B Lane Riverfront Park, The Tampa Convention Center/The Sail and Sparkman Wharf.
Red, White and YOU Party At Franklin Manor!
Where your most fashionable red, white and blue to this patriotic party! There will be a complimentary open bar from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. on July 3rd, plus entertainment, DJ's and tons of fun!
The White Party July 4th

Drink up at Jackson's with happy hour at the bars from 3-6 p.m. and DJ BIG Willie playing at the outside Island Bar from 4-10 p.m. This is the best place to watch the fireworks in the harbor!
