When it comes to the "Power of Giving", the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa is committed to raising money to help non-profits in the Tampa Bay area. This past July, the casino raised money to support the Ryan Nece Foundation and hosted a Power of Giving Fundraising Event on Friday, July 31st in the Hard Rock Cafe. This fun-filled evening featured a Charity Slot Tournament, red carpet ceremony, a benefit concert featuring Eden Shireen and a check presentation to the Ryan Nece Foundation for $6,985!
Founded by Former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Linebacker Ryan Nece, the Ryan Nece Foundation is a Tampa based charity that creates opportunities for teenagers to embrace giving in their communities. The Foundation encourages teenages to "Be the change you want to see in the world" and adopt the Power of Giving through service projects, inspirational programs, and volunteerism.
To raise money for the Foundation, the casino donated 100 percent of the proceeds from sales of the limited edition Ryan Nece Foundation sunglasses as well as proceeds from sales of the 2015 Seminole Hard Rock Girls Calendar. This month's special 4th of July inspired red, white and blue sunglasses sold out faster than any other sunglasses! It's easy to see why:
To further support the Foundation, the casino hosted a Power of Giving Fundraising event. The event kicked off with a Charity Slot Tournament where the casino raised additional money for the Ryan Nece Foundation by donating fifty percenty of the $10 tournament entry fee to the Foundation and 50 percent to the prize pool. Open to the public, everyone had fun playing the slots for the chance to "win big" while also supporting the Foundation.

The highlight of the night came when the casino showed their true Power of Giving and presented a check to the Ryan Nece Foundation for $6,985.
