Any given night throughout Tampa, music lovers are likely to find emerging or established artists performing at many concert venues throughout the city, but the biggest names come to Amalie Arena.

Grammy winners, chart-topping recording acts, long-standing legends, and others on the verge of stardom make their way here more and more frequently, which makes it harder and harder to decide which shows to splurge on (because show's aren't cheap).
Some of the hottest acts are hitting the stage Amalie Arena this year, so check out our list of the biggest concerts coming Tampa in 2019 and decide which show(s) you need to see this year.
February 13: Michael Bublé
Be a hopeless romantic and take your loved one to the pre-Valentine’s Day concert in 2019 featuring this world-famous Canadian jazz and blues singer. Bublé is known for pairing his dulcet vocals with classics like “Mack the Knife,” “The Way You Look Tonight,” and “Can’t Buy Me Love,” but has also achieved commercial and critical success with songs he has written and co-written. Plus, Tampa is the first stop on this new tour, so you can see him before many of his other fans!
March 3: P!nk
P!nk brings her Beautiful Trauma World Tour to Tampa in 2019. This is a tour that launched last year but has expanded to an additional 37 spring dates across North America. There seems to be slowdown in sight for the singer who first rose to prominence in 2000. She’s proved to be as fearless on stage as she is in real life as she's unafraid to perform Cirque du Soleil-style acrobatics during her show and unabashedly embraces androgyny.
March 8: Blake Shelton Friends and Heroes Tour
Blake Shelton brings his personal favorites, his so-called friends and heroes, on the road with him to storm stages all over the country in 2019, including Tampa. As the headliner, Shelton has more than enough star power to carry the night, but why not share the spotlight and make it a group effort with some of your guy and gal pals?
Florida’s own Bellamy Brothers (downtime is spent in Darby, just north of Tampa) join Trace Adkins and former American Idol contestant Lauren Alaina for what promises to be a raucous, rowdy night at Amalie Arena.
March 17: Travis Scott: Astroworld: Wish You Were Here Tour
Technical production issues were at fault for the cancellation of this highly-awaited Tampa tour stop last November. Hopefully, nothing will get in the way of this major rap artist’s make-up date in March 2019. The highly successful, Houston-born artist/producer has collaborated with such industry heavyweights as Kanye West, Rihanna, and Wiz Khalifa, to name a few.
His latest, greatest, “Astroworld” album, which topped the Billboard 200 for two weeks this summer, keeps the roll call of famous names coming due to contributions from Drake, The Weekend, and Frank Ocean. With two previous platinum albums to his credit, Scott seems to be on a real winning streak.
August 18: Queen and Adam Lambert
With its tough-to-categorize and impossible-not-to-enjoy signature sound, Queen made music that has stood the test of time, served as anthems at sports events, and remained popular long after the band’s lead singer, Freddy Mercury, passed away. Then the movie Bohemian Rhapsody was released, and the band’s legions of die-hard fans swelled with new converts.
Stepping into the frontman’s role is Adam Lambert who has powerful vocals and a flair for showmanship that would definitely meet with flamboyant Freddy’s approval. Previous collaborations between Queen and Lambert proved to be commercial and critical successes, and this show coming to Tampa in 2019 will certainly be no exception.
November 4: Elton John
This is not a case of deja vu but more like deja didn’t. Last November, an ear infection forced Sir Elton John to postpone the sold-out show set for Tampa in fall 2019. With luck and lots of well wishes, he returns to perform him “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour that is certain to have his eager fans on the edge of their seats- and on their feet- as he makes his way through his prolific songbook.
When the three-year world tour wraps up in London in 2020, John has said it will mark the end of his touring days. Reports indicate the tour offers a sensational song list that opens with “Bennie and the Jets” and aptly ends with “Goodbye, Yellow Brick Road.” How can you go wrong when it’s Elton John performing?
This may be the best year yet in terms of Tampa's concert lineup. You may just have to splurge on two concerts in 2019!
