What better way is there to kick off Spring than with a nostalgic day out in the sun with live music, as well as a wide selection of seasonal brews, games, and even a lighted beach ball drop? We certainly can't think of one, which is why you should head over to the Spring Beer Fling on Saturday March 29th at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in Downtown Tampa. For any of you that haven't been there, it’s one of the highest rated parks in the Tampa Bay area. The scenery is beautiful and makes a perfect setting for this wild, fun, retro themed event.

The spectacular ball drop that is consistently raved about definitely matches up to its hype. At the end of the night, thousands…yes, not hundreds, but THOUSANDS of LED lighted beach balls are dropped at the Downtown Tampa Skyline. You even get to keep the beach balls! Imagine the breathtaking colors fueling the positive energies from the crowd encased in feel good Surf Rock music—an amazing way to cap the night.
Speaking of awesome Surf Rock music, two of the performers on the lineup so far include Beach Day, a SXSW 2013 featured artist, and Pretty Girls, recently named the Best Rock Band of South Florida by the South Florida Sun Sentinel. Expect to be impressed.
