The Epicurean Hotel kicked off the season of #SplashSundays, their weekly Summer Soho Pool Party, in pure Epicurean style with handcrafted cocktails, inventive grilled goodness, a fashion show from Don Me Now, VIP cabanas, and music to keep the party going from DJ LeSage.
The dazzling pool at the Epicurean Hotel is the perfect place to spend your Sunday Funday with plenty of loungers, umbrellas, servers, a specially built Tiki Bar, and of course, the sophisticated Soho crowd.
If your Splash Sunday includes a group of friends, check out their "cool" VIP Cabanas featuring comfortable seating, sun umbrellas, your own dedicated server, a pitcher of the week's special handcrafted Skyy Cocktail and best of all, your own personal outdoor cooling system. Just ask these beautiful ladies, it really works!
It's not a pool party without cocktails and the Epicurean, of course, takes the standard pool drinks to new levels. My favorite was the "Lime In The Coconut" a refreshingly delicious concoction of Appleton Rum infused with ginger, clove, coconut water, and fresh lime served in a real coconut over plenty of ice. Heavenly! I'll be back next week just for this drink.
Another delightful cocktail was the Epicurean version of a Frozen Mojito: Aged Appleton Rum infused with coriander, allspice, fresh pineapple juice, and fresh mint. There was also a great selection of cocktails from Skyy Vodka, Appleton Rum, and plenty of Heineken Light buckets to go around:

The pool was standing room only at one point which gave us time to check out the menu. The grill reigns supreme here, thanks to Just Grillin, but this is no ordinary BBQ. From the Epicurean Dog to the Kahlua Pork Sliders to the Shrimp Tacos al Pastor, the Epicurean flair is everywhere.
The Shrimp Tacos al Pastor: tender grilled shrimp, chipolte peppers, with chunks of fresh pineapple served on flour tortillas, were the perfect accompaniment to our Lime In the Coconut cocktails:
