Now that we've welcomed the New Year, we've got a full year's worth of new events to look forward to and memories to make.  Aside from big events like the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and the November Presidential Election, 2012 is also a Leap Year giving us one extra day tacked on to the end of February.

Here in Tampa, there are going to be a number of great things going down on the leap day of Wednesday, February 29, 2012.   The most notable, though, is probably going to be the concert from rock n' roll legends, Radiohead at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.

Radiohead is returning to Tampa in support of their widely acclaimed eighth studio album, The King of Limbs.  This rare live performance is sure to be one for the books.

If you're friends with any Radiohead fan who saw them at the 1-800-ASK-GARY Ampitheatre (back then, the Ford Ampitheatre) back in May of 2008, we're sure you're still hearing about that legendary show from one of the best alternative rock bands of the modern era.

This leap day performance should be no different when Radiohead plays cuts from The King of Limbs as well as all their classic tracks including "Paranoid Android", "Karma Police", "Creep", and more.

The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. with American indie rock band, Other Lives, set to open the show.

Tickets are still available.  Prices range from $45 to $69 for this awesome Leap Day show.  Get yours now at the Radiohead event page on 813area.com!
