Kicking off on Thursday, March 7, the Shops at Wiregrass will debut their first weekly movie series Movies on the Lawn, a run of free and family-friendly movie screenings perfect for families of all ages looking for free and fun things to do in North Tampa.
Movies on the Lawn will take place on the Shops at Wiregrass' Center Court lawn with a different, g-rated movie shown every Thursday evening in March. The series will premier with a screening of Kung Fu Panda starring Jack Black at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 7.
The rest of the schedule is as follows...
Thursday, March 14, 6 p.m. - Madagascar II
Thursday, March 21, 6 p.m. - Madagascar III
Thursday, March 28, 6 p.m. - Shrek
But, the fun doesn't end with just the movies. Guests can purchase “Food & Fun Tickets” at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Information Booth, located near Macy’s Courtyard in Wiregrass to use for concessions, access to bounce houses, contests, raffles, and other fun carnival-style activities throughout Center Court.
Best of all, proceeds from the tickets will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
There will also be live entertainment on hand each week including Mr. Tommy performing from 6 to 7 p.m. on March 7 and 14 and Family Game Night taking place from 6 to 7 p.m. on March 21 and 28.
