The Carrollwood Area Business Association is hosting its CABA Presents Taste of Carrollwood (TOC) at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, March 31 from 12p to 4p. This year marks the sixth year that CABA has hosted its annual event in a large, public venue, and they expect 5000 attendees will be enjoying FREE FOOD and FAMILY FUN this Sunday.
The event is free and has something for people of all ages to enjoy. CABA’s goal is to introduce the Tampa Bay community to the business association and its 400+ business representatives who promote community development by encouraging citizens to #EatLocal #ShopLocal.
With nearly 100 vendors to include 25+ restaurants in attendance, free food tastings, coupons, games, and special deals will characterize the business expo.
Plenty of music will be featured as the event’s Media Sponsor, Beasley Media will be bringing five of their radio stations, and DJ Flash from Q105 will be the disc jockey and emcee for the day.
Ed Morse Cadillac, the Automotive Sponsor, will be displaying new cars, giving away a diamond ring, and sponsoring a raffle for a free Alfa Romeo test drive.
Family friendly entertainment includes the USF “Herd of Thunder” Marching Band, Star Wars characters, and games for children. Attendees will have an opportunity to climb aboard the Raymond James Pirate Ship and attempt a Field Goal Kick where the Bucs and Bulls play.
Upon arrival, attendees will be greeted by greyhounds from Bay Area Greyhound Adoptions, and adults will receive a Scavenger Hunt form to be completed in order to win a big screen TV.
The TOC also will solicit attendees to participate in the "Best of" awards in which vendors will be competing in several categories: Best Taste for Main Dishes, Appetizers, and Desserts as well as Best Booth and Best Giveaway. The businesses that receive the most votes in their "Best of" category will be awarded plaques to be awarded and displayed in their businesses.
Attendees will enjoy free food and free parking on the Concourse, and some may choose to purchase tickets for the VIP Bar 76 in the East Stadium Club at Raymond James where chef demonstrations and a selection of gourmet food will be available from Marlow’s Tavern, Amici’s Catering, and Tropical Treats.
