With more than 30,000 square feet of sheer gorgeousness, the venue is the perfect find for everything from an intimate baby shower for 50, to a wedding for 500, to a large corporate gathering of 1,000. Families have celebrated birthdays, retirements, bar mitzvahs, anniversaries and of course, a multitude of weddings at this location. Schools, corporations, and nonprofits have all hosted successful events here.
There’s a 10,000-square-foot ballroom (which is flexible enough to transform into different sized spaces) a 3,500-square-foot multipurpose room, a bridal suite and a checkerboard-floored marble terrace that will have you dreaming that you’re somewhere in Italy.
When a bride sweeps down the 18 steps of the grand staircase from the terrace to the courtyard, there will be gasps aplenty. Particularly eye-catching are three stunning crystal and chrome chandeliers from Light Style of Tampa Bay and installed by Borrell Electrical Company. These remarkable finishes add pizzazz to any event.
The Regent offers a variety of packages that include various room configurations and table and seating arrangements. All packages include five hours of event time; the use of the covered terrace for cocktail hour with high top tables; in-house banquet chairs and tables; black, white or ivory floor length linens; bridal suite access two hours prior to event; Florida Room access for the men two hours prior to event; a customized floor plan and dance floor space. Also complimentary is one hour of rehearsal time on weekdays Tuesday-Thursday until 6 p.m. All events are supervised by an on-site events staff manager and security.
It is an a la carte venue, meaning guests can choose to add services from a list of vendors (such as DJs, event planners, and decorators) offered by the venue. Guests also can choose from a list of licensed and insured caterers approved by The Regent who between them cover just about every cuisine imaginable, from award-winning barbecue to Cuban/Italian fusion to Caribbean and Indian food and an assortment of delectable dessert options.
