Taking a day trip over to Tarpons Springs is one of the ways I spent many a Mother's Day in Pinellas with my mom. It's quality time with great food, shopping, and entertainment. Favorite haunts include Hella's Greek Restaurant and Bakery, Paul's Shrimp House (50 years), Dimitri's on The Water, Mama's Greek Cuisine, Anclote Brew and Fournos Bakery, we liked Costa's too. Before heading home we always head to the point on Dodecanese Blvd. to Cox Seafood to pick up fresh seafood for dinner. Don't miss the Sponge Docks and take the boat tour, it's relaxing and you learn something! Create great memories and bring home unique treasures found while exploring Tarpon Springs.
