Alright, Tampa. Valentine's Day is tomorrow, February 14. We'll venture to guess you're either excited, apathetic, or completely bitter about this yearly celebration of love.
If you're single and bitter, it's hard to blame you. Who needs those fattening chocolates, expensive dinners, and flowers that will eventually die anyway, right? Lucky for us, there are plenty of things you can do for fun if you're single on Valentine's Day in Tampa.
If you're looking to head out to a huge party with a number of like-minded singles, check out Play 98.7 "That Guy" Kramer's Bitter Ball at the awesome Hawaiian Village in Westshore. Beginning at 7 p.m. singles (and couples if they so choose) will be able to enjoy great drink specials, dare to take part in Tampa’s largest game of spin the bottle, dance to live music from Mikey Wax and Scars on 45, and more all night long. Plus, there's no cover charge either!
Or, throw your own party singles party. Stock up on the snacks and booze, call up all your single friends, and wallow in your terrible lonliness together. Think how much you'll save not taking someone out to an overpriced dinner and buying overpriced drinks by just throwing a party at home. Plus, you'll be home, so if you're trying to give up that single-ness, even for just a night, you'll be right there if you know what we mean.
Or, just get some take-out, a pint of ice cream and plow through that Netflix queue you've been building up for weeks now. We won't judge.
