Christmas in The Wild at Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo returns again this year for 18 nights of wildlife after dark and family holiday cheer. The event runs on select nights from Nov. 24th - Dec. 30th.
From a 50-foot animated Christmas tree, to a whimsical Elf Village where youngsters can visit Santa, to a new African penguin holiday-themed show, there is something for all ages at this year's event.
Carolers will roam the park performing traditional classics and contemporary favorites throughout your visit. Mrs. Claus will host a holiday story time in the Main Village, with special-themed chats and activities with select animals as well. Other themed areas of the zoo will include the Holiday Hoedown, Polar Paradise and Candy Cane Lane.
Plan on visiting hungry as a unique menu will be offered up from Lowry Park Zoo head chef Itza Henderson. Seasonal holiday treats and refreshments will also be available for purchase.
Also making its return is the opportunity to sponsor a Christmas Tree! Guests can decorate their trees with community or company branding and are eligible for special deals and prizes. More information about sponsoring a Christmas tree is available here.
Tickets start at $24.95 for non-zoo members.
