24th Annual Tampa Am presented by Nike SB

The contest’s success was not only due to the high level of skating, but the good times that Ybor City still provides today. The event continues to grow and is now the de facto Amateur World Championships, attracting 200+ skaters each year from around the world. Besides the interest from throngs of amateur skaters, the contest is followed by the entire industry. Tampa Am has been a launch pad to the pros for skaters like Luan Olivera, Felipe Gustavo, and Nyjah Huston. The event is webcast live on ETNLive.com, offering everyone a taste of the Tampa Am experience.

• Please note below that we’ve instituted a new two-tiered Qualification system
• Friday Open Qualifier: Open to select skaters without a top ten finish in a 2017 Damn Am
• Saturday Tampa Am Qualifier: Open to premier amateurs and skaters with a top 10 finish in a 2017 Damn Am
• The winner of Tampa Am will automatically Qualify into the 2018 SLS Nike SB Pro Open
